Beaded Fan, Gujarat (W. India), circa 1925, 10”x  10” (excluding the top end, wood, etc)

An elaborately patterned flat woven fragment that might be the kilim end to a rug, given the size, ie. the width.  Though the width is not complete, kilims of this type, with such an elaborate design and weave are rare as it would be if thought to be a kilim end from a rug.  Either way, it is an amazing example of Baluch flat weave work at its finest.
