An older example of Baluch weaving from Afghanistan. The free hand drawing of the field elements is charming and actually a quite unusual feature as well.
The colors are all derived from natural dyes, including the atypical presence of what is probably a lac dye, usually seen in much more prestigious and posh Baluch rugs from NE Persia, rather than Afghanistan
The condition is evident in the photos; there are no repairs.
